What is this survey?
The full Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS) was developed over 20 years ago to assess patient pain, function in daily living sport and recreation, and knee-related quality of life.1 This condensed KOOS-12 was subsequently developed as a quicker assessment.
What will the survey do?
By answering 12 short questions about your knee, the website will automatically generate a score, which can be used as an indication of the level of osteoarthritis you may have.
Your answers are not stored, but you will be automatically emailed a PDF letter summarising your survey results on completion.
The result produced from the survey will be an indication of the level of knee osteoarthritis you may have and is based solely on the answers you provide. The results are not a diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis and cannot be taken as such. We recommend that you visit a GP or other healthcare professional for a formal diagnosis, to rule out other potential conditions and to be prescribed an appropriate treatment plan.
INSTRUCTIONS: This survey asks for your views about your knee. Answer every question by marking the appropriate box, only one box for each question. If you are unsure about how to answer a question, please give the best answer you can.
